With every new iOS update, there are bugs and glitches. Oh man, were there ever glitches with iOS 8. For a brief time, if you knew how, you could go back to the sane stability of iOS 7. Not anymore — Apple stopped signing iOS 7.1.2 on Friday afternoon.
Apple have officially stopped supporting and signing iOS7. That means you can not go back to iOS 7 if you are or plan to be upgraded to iOS8. Whilst not a whole lot has changed aside from a few very minor conveniences, iOS8 boasts it’s improved battery life, sandbox exiting allowances and a few other very MINOR changes. Having released iOS 8.0.2 to fix the reception issues and other user reported issues, Apple now believe that they are in the clear and hence the pulling of iOS7 support.
If you are jailbroken, we warn you not to upgrade until a jailbreak is released for iOS8 which is still as far away as anything else on this earth, having had no updates on a release by the jailbreak community.
